About the Class:
This creative paint day would be a good introduction for anyone who hasn't used paints before, Or for the improver. I know a few of you who have done this day have expressed that it was so much fun, you'd like to do it again.. !
Stewart Gill textile paints are very versatile and can be worked on cotton, silk, velvets and much much more. A day of playing with the different ranges of metallic and sparkly ones as well as the high pigment colours will get you on your way to creating unique & beautiful cloth to stitch.

Intended for: Textile & Mixed media fanatics & anyone who loves creating their own unique fabric for projects.
You Need to Bring: Pre-washed fabrics of plain or ideally white fine thread count. Scraps of Velvet & other Pre-washed textured fabrics to experiment with.
A news paper. Small washing up bowl. Brush washing jar. Apron. Permanent fabric marker pen. Sponges. Bold image rubber stamps.
Any fabric paints you may have in your cupboard

Venue & Facilities:
The Craft & Design Centre Teaching Studio will be a spacious and light. All on ground floor level.
PARKING is free at The Craft Centre.
All classes provide a choice of hot and cold drinks.
Lunches for all day classes can be pre ordered to save time, from the Craft Centre Restaurant. Or bring your own packed lunch.
