About the Class
For sewers with some machine experience.
You may be familiar with my Highland Cattle wall hanging that I did for my City & Guilds. These gentle giants make great subjects for textiles. You can bring a picture of the animal of your choice. My Frog and lizard are popular and you could base your ideas on either of these.
During this workshop I will show you how to build up layers of colour & texture to create their charm and characters of the animal.
The aspects covered in the day are collage and basic free embroidery.
Selected scrap bag included on the day.
