About the Class
This course will suit complete beginners and the intermediate sewer who would like to advance their skills a bit further.
Try out the basic skills of patchwork by creating patchwork blocks to make into cushions or put into a quilt. Learn rotary cutting, piecing, templates, applique & machining as well as building confidence choosing colours and fabrics.
The 6 week course will give you an incite to using different patchwork designs, traditional & modern patchwork.
Each week a set block or sampler block pattern is learned, so you could put together a quilt using the 'Quilt as you go' method or make use as individual projects.
Starting Afternoons, 7th November 2019 1:30pm- 4pm and continuing on Thursdays until 12th December.

Venue & Facilities:
The class is held in "STUDI0ne' the rear courtyard at The Craft Centre in Broadwindsor with Wheel Chair Access.
STUDI0ne is a spacious and light room on ground floor level with adjustable tables and seating to make your sewing experience comfortable and enjoyable. Ironing, cutting and basic equipment all on hand if needed.
PARKING is free at The Craft Centre.
All classes provide a choice of hot and cold drinks.
Lunches for all day classes can be pre ordered to save time, from the Craft Centre Restaurant. Or bring your own packed lunch.
